The Om Shanti Mantra means peace in mind, speech and body. I believe that if we could all be truly at peace and bring peace into our lives, our energy could travel like this to others, without words, becoming contagious. In ancient Hebrew peace is called Shalom, in Sanskrit Shanti, in Aramaic Heshusha, and they have the same root as: Yeshua, Shiva, Krishna, Krishtos, Shaman, everything that brings stillness in the mind has this sound. Even in Nature the wave emits the same Sound and this has the ability to create peace within ourselves, because this sound vibrates like the thought of peace. The piece I composed on the melody and text of the Shanti Mantra was born as a vibrating instrument for an expansion of Peace.
