Hans Tutzer was born in Bolzano / Italy in 1959. After studying the saxophone in Milan / Italy and also in Innsbruck / Austria with Florian Bramböck, he entered upon a career as a working musician playing many live concerts and participating in numerous CD recordings in cooperation with the big band “Hanspeter’s Orchestra”, the trio “OTeM” and the saxophone quartet “Sax Four Fun”.
The latter work together with renowned musicians at home in the Italian music scene, such as Paolo Fresu, Javier Girotto, Fabrizio Bosso and many more.
‘Tamayura’ is the name of the current CD and project with Karin Nakagawa and Paolino Dalla Porta. At present, Hans Tutzer works as a teacher at the music schools of Bolzano, Merano and Oltradige (Überetsch) in Italy.
