Johann Finatzer, born in Bolzano in 1973. Graduated in trombone at the Bolzano Music Conservatory, further training with internationally renowned teachers. Substitute and soloist of the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento since 1995. Since 1993 conductor of the wind bands Kurtinig, Margreid, Truden, Terlan, Auer, St. Pauls. Currently conductor of the Brassband Überetsch, South Tyrolean Youth Brassband and the Stadtkapelle Bozen. Member of various chamber music formations such as Ensemble Windkraft, the Sonoro trombone quartet and the Cinquino brass quintet. Artistic director of the concert association Forum Musik Kaltern and the Weinklänge-Südtiroler Weinstraße. Since 1993 instrumental teacher for trombone/euphonium at the music schools in Eppan and Lana. Music teacher training at the University of Bolzano/Bressanone, graduating in 2009. Training as a mentor, graduating in 2024. Composer and juror at competitions.
