This traditional East Tyrolean march (also known as “Des Kriegers Ruhm”) is a very old “Motinga” march whose composer is unfortunately unknown. It gained great fame through its performance, among other things, at the Motinga Kranzltage (Motinga Wreath Days), an ecclesiastical traditional celebration, and in various television broadcasts by the Musikkapelle Matrei in Osttirol (Matrei Music Band in East Tyrol). This beautiful street march has been rearranged by Pavel Franc exclusively for MUNODI Edition, so that it may find its way into many marching books.
